Lee Rossi is a winner of the Jack Grapes Poetry Prize and the Steve Kowit Prize. His latest book is Darwin’s Garden, from Moon Tide Press. Individual poems have appeared in The Southwest Review, Rattle, Spillway, The Chiron Review, The Southern Review as well as many other glittering and shabby venues. He is a member of the National Book Critics Circle and a Contributing Editor to Poetry Flash.
Robin has been writing poetry for many years and has been published in several small publications. Finishing Line Press has published his three chapbooks: The Live Long Day, Reckless Simplicity and Make Show.
Gail Entrekin taught college Creative Writing for 25 years. She has published five books of poetry, and her poems have been finalists for the Pablo Neruda, Steve Kowit, Frontier Open, Richard Snyder, Blue Light and Catamaran Prizes and winner of the Women’s National Book Association Prize. She edits the on-line environmental literary journal Canary (canarylitmag.org).
Ella Eytan was Co-Chair of MPC, their Newsletter editor and started their Anthology. Her poems have been in magazines like The Seattle Review, California Quarterly and Poet Lore. She has three books of Poetry— Poems on a Minnesota Childhood, After a Certain Age and Stumbling up the Mountain.
Laurel began writing after careers in education and business. She is a past MPC board member serving as membership chairman. Her work appears in The Amsterdam Quarterly, Silk Worm, Poetry Sunday online, and a variety of other journals. She is author of The Daily Absurd and Matrimony with another book in the works.
Tashi Manchip (2022-2023 MPC Youth Poet Co-Ambassador) enjoys reading, writing, and doing art in her free time. She has assisted in elementary school classrooms both in-person and online. Tashi is a Senior at Tamalpais High School and will co-lead their Creative Writing Club this fall.
Jackson Bramlette (2022-2023 MPC Youth Poet Co-Ambassador) is a Senior at Redwood High School and will lead their Creative Writing Club this fall. As co-ambassador, he wishes to establish a program in Marin that would allow the county to nominate an individual for Youth Poet Laureate.
