Come and fortify yourself for the winter holidays with beautiful poetry from Danusha Laméris and Dion O'Reilly and delectably festive snacks from Marin Poetry Center's kitchen elves!
Danusha Laméris is the author of three poetry collections, The Moons of August (Autumn House, 2014), Bonfire Opera (Pitt Poetry Series, 2021), and Blade by Blade (Copper Canyon, 2024). Her work has received a Pushcart Prize and appears in The Best American Poetry, The American Poetry Review, Poetry, and elsewhere. She was the 2018-2020 Poet Laureate of Santa Cruz County and is currently on the faculty of Pacific University’s low-residency MFA program.
Dion O’Reilly is the author of three poetry collections, Sadness of the Apex Predator (University of Wisconsin’s Cornerstone Press, 2024), Ghost Dogs (Terrapin Books, 2020), and Limerence(Floating Bridge Press, 2024). Her work appears in The Sun, Rattle, Alaska Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. She is a podcaster at The Hive Poetry Collective, leads poetry workshops, and is a reader for Catamaran Literary Quarterly. She divides her time between Santa Cruz and Bellingham, WA.
