Come join the Marin Youth Poet Laureate and Youth Poet Laureate Ambassadors for a creative hour of poetry! In partnership with the Legacy of Marin City Exhibit and the Marin Poetry Center, we will be offering free-writes, collage-building, scavenger hunts, and discussions. Learn about different forms and usages of poetry and how they can interact with the rich history of Marin City. At the end of the workshop, students will get the chance to give back to the exhibit with their posters. Open to everyone ages 8-11 and 12-16 with any level of poetry experience. Pre-registration is encouraged; please call 415-473-2050.
If you are a person with a disability and require an accommodation to participate in a County program, service, or activity, requests may be made by calling 415-473-4381 (Voice), Dial 711 for CA Relay, or by submitting a Disability Accommodation Request at least five business days in advance of the event. We will do our best to fulfill requests received with less than five business days’ notice. Copies of documents are available in alternative formats upon request.
